As February is quickly coming to a close, I am pleased with the work I've begun. And while I am proud of the work I have done with addressing my sleeping, my relationship with water, and working out. I am most proud of having gone live for 28 days on the Wisdom app and, even more so, the lives I have reached.
On Saturday, I woke up at 6:30 am. I jumped in the shower, and by 7 am, I was working. I started by editing an upcoming podcast episode and then, at 8 am, had a check-in meeting with a client. Afterward, I had to run some errands, but later in the afternoon, I was a guest on two different podcasts.
Seeing my personal goals come to life has been fulfilling, but seeing my business goals materialize is invigorating. And being a podcast guest is one of those business goals. I had the chance to be a guest on several podcasts last year, but I want to triple that number this year.
In 2022 I was a guest on four podcasts.
My goal for 2023 is to triple that, and so far, I have been a guest on:
Butterfly Testimony For The Nations Ministry (recorded on Saturday)
Screaming Chuy Show (recorded on Saturday)
My original goal was to triple the 2023 guest spots I had in 2022; as you can see, I am on my way! How did I do it? It's all about being transparent with your message and willing to connect - ABC, always be connecting.
When I launched Miguel Lebron Coaching, LLC, I knew I had to expand my circle, so I joined a few Facebook groups. One group, in particular, got me connected with Jesse Cruz, the co-founder of Merge WorldWide. Because of that connection, I was invited to speak at one of the first events hosted by Merge World Wide! And with that connection, I met Andrew Biernat, whom I did a podcast swap with, and was a guest on Your Personal Growth, Personal Brand Podcast. And I also met Jose Escobar, whom I have been able to have as a guest on the Strategy Rewind podcast, chat on a personal level, and get my hands on his new book. All this happened due to joining a Facebook group, so what do you think I did in 2023?
I started looking for new Facebook groups I could join and began to expand my reach further. I looked for more groups that have to do with coaching, podcasting, and even specific groups that are geared toward podcasters that are minorities. You see, social media ain't all that bad - it's about how you use it. It has led to some fantastic conversations I otherwise wouldn't have had.
