Don't Park The Car
When I was a kid, I was told “please” and “thank you” were the magic words. The reality is that the ability to say them has reduced, but we cannot ignore their power.
Most of us tend to treat gratitude like a finish line. We get the blessing, we say “Thank you, Lord,” and then we park the car. But gratitude is not supposed to be a stop. It’s not a period; it’s a comma.
Think about a fighter. The round is over, he goes to the corner, and the coach is telling him, “You can do this, get back up!” But if that fighter stays in the corner when the bell rings, he loses. He’s taking an “eternal dirt nap” while the fight is still going on.
Are you settling prematurely? Are you telling God, “Don’t make us cross the Jordan,” because you’re comfortable where you are?
This Wednesday, we dive deeper into the “Comma Mindset” and show you how you can erase the comfort zone to avoid the cycle of stagnation.
